Anca Barbu is a Miami artist, originally from Romania. She started painting in college in NYC where she started displaying her paintings in several New York prominent art galleries.
Re-locating to Florida for the paradise weather, Anca started exhibiting her paintings around Miami area, in several galleries and also displayed in Wynwood arts district. She also painted murals in the Wynwood area where she would attend the local famous ARTWALK.
In Miami, Anca transitioned from painting on canvases to handbags. Anca started out painting custom bags for her clients on their own designer handbags before setting out and establishing her own collection of bags. She designed several styles of handbags and keeps the upmost top quality control on the manufacturing of the bags.
The purses are all genuine long lasting top quality leather and painted with specific leather paint that will not peel or stain. Throughout the years, Anca has come up with several fun designs for the bags and continues coming out with new styles every season.
